Nationally Consistent Collection of Data on School Students with Disability

In 2015, all schools in Australia will participate in the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data on School Students with Disability. The national data collection is an annual collection  that counts the number of school students with disability and the level of reasonable educational adjustment they are provided with.   Read More


​School Regional Surfing Titles

The College took five students down to Cronulla to compete in the 2015 School Regional Titles on 6th, 7th and 8th of May. These students included George Pittar, Remy Gavanga, Declan Quail and Joel Beck in the junior division and myself, Patrick Parker in the senior division.   Read More

Year 9 Camp

On a not so sunny morning Year 9 assembled nice and early to head off on a three day camping trip to Glenworth Valley and Somersby. It was to be three days of on and off rain, however from all accounts the camp was a success despite the weather. The boys enjoyed all of the activities immensely. Abseiling off the 10metre and 20metre towers, high ropes, some archery and canoeing and swimming in the dam.  Read More


Year 10 Food Technology

Year 10 Food Technology have been studying Food Trends over the last term. As part of their assessment, students were required to observe current trends in food styling and presentation and there was no better way to do this than to visit a local restaurant in Manly.   Read More

Just another crazy day in the History 7Y class as they mummified 3 innocent students and got wrapped in toilet paper.   Read More

Year 10 students have completed their first major assessment for the year in their elective subject Industrial Timber. The boys all thoroughly enjoyed the project finding it both challenging and rewarding.   Read More

Beacon Hill's Best Cricket All Rounder

Year 8 student, Patrick Mace was awarded the Beacon Hill Junior “Best All Round Cricketer in Club” for the 2014-2015 season at his Cricket presentations last weekend. Patrick also received the U14 Batting Average and Aggregate Award for his team.  Read More

The HSC years can be stressful. An increased academic workload coupled with high expectations to perform often lead to stress and anxiety. When students start secondary school, they are usually very positive and optimistic about school. Then things can start to get harder, a bit more challenging, maybe they get a bad mark and become discouraged, or maybe their friends start to influence their attitude.
