Design Challenge
The TAS Department is running a series of “Design Challenges” throughout the year. These “Design Challenges” will take various forms and each will aim to develop creative thinking, careful planning, independent learning and evaluating skills.
Students can enter just one challenge or take on all challenges throughout the year. Prizes and incentives will be awarded to the winners of each Challenge. Students will also be awarded points for entering and / or winning a place in each of the individual Challenges which will accumulate towards the Major Design Award at the end of the year.
Each DAY 10, there will also be 5 “DESIGNER TRIVIA”questions in the Newsletter. Students must submit their answers to Mrs Winter in the bottom staffroom every DAY 1, by the end of recess.(Or Day 2, by the end of recess in the event when the Newsletter is distributed on a Monday). Points will also be awarded for these submissions and correct entries.
