Paintbrushes, computers, sewing machines, drop saws, drums, violins, and canvasses. St Paul's is well facilitated for fostering creative based subjects. Year 12 students have been using a wide range of resources and working solidly to complete their Major Projects for Industrial Technology, Visual Arts, Design and Technology and Music. These subjects are all strongly participated in at St Pauls.

Sean Pereira designed and produced (in Design and Technology), a portable surveillance system called I-Spy which upon an alert, allows users from any global location to view images of areas of concern, on their mobile phone and via email, eliminating the need for a back to base security system (which are expensive and often unreliable).

Additional benefits of and components of this design include:
- Alerts are archived. Images and accompanying information may be accessed by the user when needed.
- Unlimited number of cameras to be set up from which, on alert, the user can be sent detailed information (time to the millisecond, date, location) of alert along with image.
- Live video demonstration outlining all intricate features of the ?I-Spy? Portable Surveillance System.
- Video presentation of the design process, means of production and continual evaluation which supports the extensive portfolio.

Seans project was one of the select few to be nominated by the Board of Studies for display at the Powerhouse Museum.

Thomas Ready produced a Jarrah garden bench for his Industrial Technology Major Project. He enjoys design and practical work and would like to pursue a career in furniture making. Thomas says his parents are looking forward to placing this attractive piece on their front verandah. Fellow class mates produced a wide variety of designs from a wardrobe to a bar.

Talented Music student Andrew Cook will be singing six pieces for his HSC performance program. His repertoire ranges from musical theatre to opera. Andrew is very experienced and passionate about musicals and has successfully developed his performance skills. Andrew was nominated for an On Stage Award which showcases the best Drama students talent in the State.

From exploring Australian identities to abstracts, Visual Art students have been busily expressing themselves in their bodies of works. Teacher Ms Vicki Broome encouraged her students to think and work as artists in a multitude of media and to explore all aspects of materials.
