At St Paul's Catholic College the staff are dedicated to providing an environment that is rich in the Catholic ethos and this includes the acceptance of a variety of ideas and the welcoming of different view points. The Careers Adviser is an extension of this.

Rather than attempting to dictate career paths to students, the Careers Adviser listens to the individual student's passions and what they perceive as their personal strengths. From this, the Careers Adviser attempts to find career paths that will enrich the student's life and to foster an environment in which each student strives to build a successful career once they leave school.

Careers Advice Programs are available for all students in Years 9 to 12. Informal careers counselling is also available for both students and parents. Assistance is provided in coordinating student tertiary applications, apprenticeships, and traineeships, as well as establishing links with local employers.

For further information please contact the College Careers Adviser, Mr Dale Casburn, or call the College office on 02 9977 5111.
